McCurtain Schools is proud to announce that we will be enrolling students for our very own 3-Year-Old Program for the 2026–2027 school year! 🎉
As part of this transition, as of the 2026-2027 school year, McCurtain Public Schools will no longer be affiliated with Adventure Head Start, and their program will no longer be housed on our campus. For questions regarding the future of Adventure Head Start in the McCurtain area, please contact Adventure directly.
👉 Please note: This is a brand-new program through McCurtain Schools. Any previous or current enrollment with Adventure Head Start will NOT transfer. All families must complete new enrollment paperwork directly with McCurtain Schools for their child to participate.
We are excited to bring this opportunity in-house and offer a high-quality early childhood program as part of our public school system. We look forward to welcoming our youngest learners and continuing to serve our community with excellence!

The meat judging team had a busy week!
We started the week with practice alongside a few of the judgers from EOSC. A big thank you to Hannah Paul for coming and sitting in with them at practice.
On Thursday, we attended Aggie Day at Connors State College. Our 4-H team competed in the 8th–10th grade division and placed 11th out of 28 teams. Our senior team placed 17th out of 30 teams while competing with only two members and taking a zero for the third score. We are so proud of the effort both teams put in.
On Friday, we traveled to Miami, Oklahoma, for the NEO contest at the Quapaw facilities, which is always a favorite for our students. After judging, we had the opportunity to stop by Hofschulte’s and tour their boar barn. Thank you to them for allowing our students to learn more about their program!

The McCurtain Shotgun Shooting Sports Team participated in the OKSSSP Regional Shoot provided by the ODWC today in El Reno. Our top high school shooters were Marcus Christy with a 22 out of 25 and Jackson Blaylock with a 21 out of 25. Our top junior high shooters were Lane Labor with a 20 out of 25 and Corbin Eaton with a 15 out of 25. All team members represented McCurtain School well. I am very proud of our shooting sports program at McCurtain. ~Mrs. Blaylock
